KEDB prioritizes the education of our youth, recognizing its vital role in shaping the next generation of leaders. One of our main focuses is to ensure that the youth have access to quality education and career advancement opportunities, which we believe are key to their growth and success.
2023 - 2024 Events & Impact:
Career Awareness Fair
Professionals from various fields were invited to speak with middle school students about their career paths, offering them valuable insights from real-life experiences.
Career Exploration Fair
Multiple companies were given booths to share information and resources regarding employment possibilities available within their organization to 8th - 12th grade students.
Reality Fair
KEDB collaborated in organizing an event that aimed to equip high school students with the essential financial skills and knowledge to prepare them for their future.
Sophomore Exploration Day
Students visited various departments in the County of Kauaʻi, Koa Kea, and the Grand Hyatt Kauaʻi to gain knowledge about their functions and potential career prospects.

All Position Football Camp
We teamed up with Herbiegives, NFL Steelers Players and Kauaʻi Natives Nick & Nate Herbig, to launch the very first all-position football camp on Kauaʻi.

Broadband Hoʻike
We are proud to have brought the first ever broadband hoʻike to Kauaʻi, which was open to organizations and the public. This event provided valuable information on the latest broadband technology and resources, and a great chance to learn and network with like-minded individuals and organizations.
